Musings of an Old Irish American of Dubious Distinction
I noticed that Object Desktop 7 is compatible with Vista. I am currently dualbooting Vista Beta 2 with OS X 10.4.7 on my Intel iMac 17" machine. I would like to upgrade to Object Desktop 7, since it provides support for Vista. I just installed my current Object Desktop (latest version), and apparently, none of the objects will install under Vista, except Startdock Central. Please help me to have a working Object Desktop.

You download whatever they have on Stardock Central. You don't get another CD or anything like that. Just whatever they put on Stardock Central.

So, nothing in Object Desktop 7 yet works under Vista except Stardock Central?

Will be compatible, they're working on it. Once Vista is closer to release, the compatible betas will appear.

Just to make it clear: No, we do not yet have support for Vista in Object Desktop. We are making our best effort to ensure that when Vista is released, Object Desktop components will work with it. However, we can't make any guarantee that any particular pre-release build of Vista will work with any of them. They keep changing stuff and breaking it.
